- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Most of the staff here were friendly and the place seems well managed. However, my experience seeing Dr. Reader was disappointing. He was very dismissive. I was recommended to him for my ocular migraines because he's one of the few "neuro guys" in SF. After about $600 worth of tests, all he ended up doing was writing me a new prescription, with no additional info to help figure out my situation. I was so dissatisfied and confused by his prescription that I booked another appointment at AccuVision Optometry. The optometrist there determined that my prescription from Dr. Reader was incorrect! She redid some tests and helped me understand that I had newly developed astigmatisms in both eyes (which Dr. Reader never even mentioned.) The eye doctors and staff at AccuVision were extremely helpful, compassionate, and much more service-oriented. I would highly recommend them over Pacific Eye Associates.July 11, 2017by Peter LoBue
